The Daily Smoothy Ritual

The whole Five Signals practice can ground into what I call the Daily Smoothie Ritual. The daily practice of nourishing and nurturing yourself with a morning smoothie, in a very personal way that tastes yummy and delicious for you. This is a very helpful way to establishing consistent healthy nourishment patterns and supplying your body with what you require.

I always say “ADD” don’t SUBTRACT.” Don’t take anything away as often this just triggers the feeling  of deprivation which leads to back-lash and retaliation- just add the good things, your biochemistry will balance and eventually the cravings for harmful things and/or over eating can leaves you.

The Synergy of the Basic Five is the key to feeling Satisfied!!

The Five Signal Synergy (proper mixture of the basic five in super digestible form) is what gives the body the Stimulation we are looking for. This resolves the stimulant drive. In the Five Signals workshops and tele-series you learn HOW to know what you body is looking for and how to put it all together in a way that SATISFIES you. Satisfaction is established when you get a Stop Signal. This is when your body tells you you are satisfied and full and you experience dopamine and serotonin production. You then understand the difference between inter-cellular Stimulation (oh yeah!) and stimulants.

Below this first smoothie guideline are two standard fruit or vegetable Five Signal Smoothie recipes. Always adjust according to your own requirements based on your smell, taste and gut knowing. The more you practice this, the clearer it gets!

As with all ingredients smell everything before you add it- paying attention to if you like the smell or not (smell every time you make a smoothie as smells change according to what your body needs) and make the smoothie so you LOVE the taste.

Five Signals Smoothie

In a blender or VitaMix blend together:

WATER
Choose the amount based on how thick or thin you want the smoothie, if you want leftovers for lunch, a snack or the next day.
Filtered water
Coconut water
For the following ingredients open the jar or bottle and sniff.  If it smells good to you put it in the smoothie.  Smelling good means sweet or earthy in a way that appeals to you in the moment.  Decide how much you want.  As you get familiar with the flavors it will become easier to judge how much to put in.
